Even infamous Christmas curmudgeons like the Grinch and Scrooge would have been charmed by the St. Mary’s School Christmas program Sunday. The program told the familiar Biblical Christmas story of Mary and Joseph coming to Bethlehem, and Jesus being born in a stable. But the program, “The Unfriendly Beasts,” took a fresh look at the story, by imagining what the animals thought of the human interlopers in their stable. A song from kindergarten and first graders set the stage for the program. See back page for more.
