New business unloads in Tracy

A flurry of activity in downtown Tracy Wednesday afternoon heralded the arrival of a new business. Steve Trachenberg announced the purchase of two downtown properties, the former Hebig Electric building on South Street,  and the State Farm office building on Fourth St.  The new business, Chasing Our Tails Inc., will be involved in the production of pet treats. The new company will also rent space in the former Salmon Olds-Chevrolet building on Fourth St. for storage. The photo shows equipment being moved into the Salmon building late Wednesday afternoon. Plans are for the Tracy State Farm office to move to a new location on Third St. State Farm representative Beth Lanoue stressed that State Farm will continue to serve its customers without interruption at its current location, until the new office space is ready. Further details will be published in next week’s paper.
