Mother Nature’s latest blow has left TAHS rescheduling athletic events once again.
Because of Thursday’s wind, the Class A Section 3A Wrestling Tournament — originally slated to begin here Thursday — has been moved to Saturday. The action will begin at 11 a.m. at the VMC. The winner of the tournament will advance to the state tournament. TMB/WWG is the top seed.
The boys’ basketball game against YME that was scheduled to take place at the VMC on Thursday has been moved to Saturday at the high scoool. The B-squad game will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by the varsity tilt. There will be no C-squad game that night.
The boys’ home game against WWG on Friday is still on at the high school. The National Honor Society will have its annual Pie Auction that night, and there will be a Tracy Area Girls softball fundraiser meal during the games. The halftime entertainment will feature a basketball game between the Tracy and Walnut Grove fire departments to benefit Sanford Heart Health.
