Roger Lee Timmerman, 61, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his home. Roger was born on April 30, 1959 in Tracy, MN to Rodney and Harriet (Smith) Timmerman. He grew up in Tracy and graduated from Tracy High School in 1976. As a teen, Roger was able to work side by side with his mother at the A&W. He also worked at pig farm that he continued working at upon his graduation. Roger moved to Sioux Falls and has worked at various restaurants over the years.
Roger enjoyed music and playing guitar. He was interested in history and loved watching war documentaries.
Roger is survived by his father, Rodney, Colman; his siblings, David (Barbara) Timmerman, Sioux Falls; and Kathy Benson (significant other, Mike Rose), Tracy, MN; a niece, Tara Timmerman (significant other, Chase Schraeder) and daughter, Alivyah, Sioux Falls; and nephew, Tyler (Jessica) Timmerman and their daughter, Paityn, Sioux Falls. Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet who passed away on November 27, 2020, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Private interment will take place at the Tracy City Cemetery in Tracy, MN.
