Another potential buyer for O’Brien Court has signed a letter of intent to purchase the EDA-owned facility.
The unidentified person, at least the second in as many years to make a run at purchasing the housing facility, has local ties. The name of the person has not yet been made public.
“There is a letter of intent out there right now to purchase O’Brien Court,” Tracy Community Development Director Jeff Carpenter confirmed at last Wednesday’s EDA meeting. “The next steps are, we will send that to our attorney, and our attorney will send that to Sanford. This isn’t a fast process; this could be 90 days before we hear anything from Sanford.”
