TMB dancers Tara Roberts and Jaci Jorgensen selected for All-State Dance Team

A pair of Tracy-Milroy-Balaton dance team members will soon be showing off their talents on a much bigger stage than they’re used to.
Tara Roberts, a senior at Tracy Area High School, and Jaci Jorgensen, a Russell-Tyler-Ruthton junior who dances with the TMB team, were recently selected by the Minnesota Association of Dance Teams (MADT) to represent TMB as All-State dancers — Roberts in jazz and Jorgensen in high kick. Dancers are nominated by their coach.
“I was honored to just be able to try out,” said Roberts. “To get the email saying I made the team and was selected to be one of the top dancers in Class A jazz, it’s just mind-blowing. I was not expecting that.”
Jorgensen said she tried out in both categories and made both teams but decided to represent her team in the high kick category.
