The District No. 2904 School Board on Monday heard the first reading of the 2023-24 school calendar, which included some noticeable changes.
Due to pending construction, the current school year will end five days early, which means there will be no school on May 22-26. The start of the 2023-24 school year, which normally is the day after Labor Day, is slotted for Monday, Sept. 11.
Teacher workshops will shift from the end of August to Sept. 5-7.
“Our hope is to be in the building at that point in time,” Tracy Area Public Schools Supt. Chad Anderson said.
