Forty Balaton residents filled half of the Balaton Community Center on Monday to hear four proposals concerning the future of the former Colonial Manor building on the outskirts of town. They also had the opportunity for their voices to be heard by the Balaton City Council as a number of townsfolk weighed in on what they think should happen to the building and what is best for the town’s present and future.
The Balaton City Council will hold a closed-door meeting this week before making its final determination on the fate of the building at this Monday’s council meeting.
