Additional housing options should be available in Balaton within the next couple years after the Balaton City Council decided its next step with the Balaton Care Center (formerly known as the Colonial Manor) on Monday night.
Following a closed meeting prior to the regular city council meeting, Balaton Mayor Lonnie Lambertus announced the council had voted to enter negotiations with KEH Incorporated. The KEH proposal was one of four plans presented to the City.
During a public hearing held on June 5, Kenny Holm discussed their plan for the building. The first project would be repair or replacement of the roof.
