96th annual Box Car Days celebration right around the corner
Kristina Daniels has learned in her first few months as the new Tracy Area Chamber of Commerce director just how much planning, preparation and work it takes to make Box Car Days what it is.
“I look at it like a wedding — you want it to be perfect, but it’s hard to do that,” Daniels said. “It’s been interesting.”
Of course, Daniels isn’t bearing the weight of throwing Tracy’s biggest party of the year alone. This year’s Box Car Days Committee consists of 10 members: Khyle Radke, Tara Brandl, Jay Fultz, Michaela Miller, Rhonda Fredericks, Brenda Wieme, Lexi Erickson, Lori Alf, Nikki Hippe, Aaron Hippe.
