The Tracy City Council took another step toward tearing down the old liquor store building downtown during Monday’s regular meeting.
A resolution was passed to sell contents of the old liquor store that are determined to be sellable as the building is cleaned out. In addition, a deadline of Dec. 31, 2023, was set for Senior Dining to remove its items from the building.
“We’re not going to get rich off this by any means, but there are some nice items in there from the old liquor store,” Tracy City Administrator Jeff Carpenter said.
