‘Lots’ to think about for council

The Tracy City Council on Monday discussed the future of a number of lots close to proximity of one another — one, a lot the owner wants to give to the City, the other, a set of three adjacent City-owned lots an organization wants to acquire.

The first lot talked about is a parcel of land owned by CHS to the immediate west of the water tower. The lot doesn’t appear to have much value, as there is a foundation/basement located there; it would cost roughly $5,000 to remove the foundation. There is also a sewer line connected to it. The lot is zoned residential, and the current property tax on it is $246 a year.
