The District No. 2904 School Board received a positive audit report Monday and also approved the levy for 2024 after the annual Truth in Taxation report.
The board certified the Maximum Minnesota Department of Levy Limitation and Certification 2023 Payable 2024 of $3,562,232.17, which is a decrease of $70,046.10 (-1.93%). Last year’s levy was $3,632,278.81. The tax levy is based on numerous state-determined formulas in addition to voter-approved referenda.
