For the second year in a row, the sounds of laughter and the clinking of cutlery could be heard from outside the Balaton Community Center during the city’s end-of-the-year celebration. Balaton American Legion Post 237 and the Balaton Bay Golf Course partnered once more to put together the event this past weekend, complete with a meal and bar, followed by rounds of bingo. The reservation-only event drew a crowd of over 120 people, leaving little empty space in the community center.
