Those machines might not be as prevalent as they once were, but there is one in town — one that few even knew about — that has turned out to be quite the money-maker.
While going through the surplus items inside to old Municipal Liquor Store building, one of those old-time Roadrunner spiral gumball machines was discovered. And it was full — not just of old yet still sweet gumballs, but 1,216 quarters. If you do the math, that’s $304.
