Burger time

Lunch wasn’t an ordinary lunch at Tracy Area Public Schools last Wednesday.

Thanks to a $10,000 Farm to School and Early Care Full Tray Grant (which was matched by the school district) students were treated to a new kind of burger — a bison burger.

The meat came directly from Brewster Bison, the hometown of TAPS Food Service Director Michele Hawkinson.
